Characteristic: The construction of a "A" class office building next to the Poznan 'Mercure' Hotel at the former car parking of the hotel.

The enterprise was possible due to good cooperation of the Investor with the company 'ORBIS' (GTC participated financially in privatization of 'ORBIS'). The elimination of the former hotel parking lot with a 100 parking spaces required creation of an adequate amount of parking spaces in the underground car park of the new building.

The underground works were made with a retaining wall 20 meters deep. The slab over the most submersed floor was poured on ground which was eventually removed from underneath.

GLOBIS building is nine floors high, as many as only zoning permits. The architecture, the shape and materials refers to the 'Mercure' Hotel which was renovated at the same time while GLOBIS was constructed.

The building meets severe economical factors and fits into the modern standards of "A" class office buildings. The vertical transport is provided by elevators and traditional staircases. The building is fully accessible for the disabled people.

Year of build: 2002-2003
