The Scheme - Spatial Conception: The conception of new land development of Monastery Complex benefits form unique and picturesque old monastery that is situated on an island surrounded by system of canals connected with Odra River.
The main axis symmetry of Monastery Complex in Lubiaz is marked by the front facade an old church building of Saint Virgin Mary that was secularized at the beginning of XIX Century.
Restoration and Revitalization of this building is concerning creating gallery or museum with historical-contemplation character.
The Project of revitalization and renovation of Monastery Complex in Lubiaz in further aspects is concerning its adaptation to contemporary functions such as:
- congress/conference facility, (definitely needed in the area of Wroclaw)
- scientific research facility, (various options)
- training and educational facility, (in particular European Unity programs)
- cultural facility, (fine arts, music and dance)
- tourist, hotel, sport and recreation facility
- with all due respect to monument preservation laws and regulations.
